Alfametal is one of the leading industrial ferrous and non-ferrous metal recyclers in Spain. Present all around the country, their plants are specialised by metal type and production process. Through fragmentation, selection, and refinement processes for metals, ELV, WEEE, and electric motors, we actively contribute to the circular economy and sustainability.

Alfametal’s mission is to manage and recycle ferrous and non-ferrous waste to make it into new raw material, by recovering, transporting, storing, sorting, and commercialising it on the secondary metal market.

PROCESS
Alfametal process
Our activity in and of itself already contributes to the environment. We are devoted to recycling metal and are able to very efficiently affect the sector’s circular economy. The metals we recycle must be collected, sorted, and recovered to put them back into the secondary metal market. In some cases, they also go through an industrial process to sort them (such as end-of-life vehicles).
Ferrous and non-ferrous waste
End-of-life vehicles, electronic products, reductions in industrial processes, scrapping buildings, recycling points, and more, all create metal waste.
Alfametal collects it to bring it to its sorting production plants for recycling.
Analysis and sorting
Once properly analysed and sorted in the warehouse, the waste undergoes production processes to obtain the utmost yield.
Production processes
The materials are separated through different processes after fragmentation, shredding, separation by magnetic fraction or density, etc.
We use the latest technologies in all our processes.
Ferrous and non-ferrous metals
The waste has now become a raw material suitable for recycling within a new production process.
Industry, casting
The material is commercialised to different industries that recover the metals and make them into new products or materials.
